Stiftung 1. FC Köln
About the funder
The Stiftung 1. FC Köln was established as the engagement platform of 1. FC Köln. Under the foundation’s umbrella, a variety of social and inclusive projects are implemented. Current focal points include the expansion of integrative sports offerings (e.g., blind football, amputee football, inclusion football, goalball, walking football) as well as local aid and educational projects such as the food distribution center “St. Karl – Church for Body and Soul.” The foundation cooperates with partners such as Aktion Mensch, Gold-Krämer-Stiftung, AOK Rheinland/Hamburg, and Caritas to break down barriers, promote social participation, and sustainably strengthen health, education, and cohesion in Cologne.
