About the funder
The Stiftung der Volksbank Edewecht eG was established in 1997 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the then Volksbank Edewecht. It promotes charitable engagement in the municipality of Edewecht, particularly in the areas of youth work, culture, local heritage and monument preservation, as well as sports. Since its inception, over €191,227 has been distributed to 332 projects from the interest income generated by the initial capital contribution (300,000 DM). Funding applications can be submitted annually until November 15; allocations are made in the first quarter of the following year.

The Stiftung der Volksbank Edewecht eG is committed to promoting charitable engagement in its home community. Our goal is to strengthen clubs and organizations that enrich communal life with their projects, foster cultural exchange, and contribute sustainably to the quality of life in Edewecht.
Target groups
Non-profit associations and organizations based in the municipality of Edewecht that implement innovative projects in the fields of youth work, culture, local heritage and monument preservation, as well as sports, are supported. The foundation targets both individual projects and ongoing initiatives that promote local community life and have a sustainable impact.
