About the funder
The Foundation of the Beda Institute for European Cultural Education was established on December 12, 2012, and recognized as a non-profit public foundation under civil law by the ADD Trier on December 18. It promotes artistic creation and education across borders and is particularly committed to children and young people with and without disabilities. The foundation embodies the appreciation of Western-Christian culture and supports inclusion and integration by creating a place for encounter, development, and aesthetic education. Financial contributions are exclusively dedicated to this foundation’s purpose.

Mission & Vision
The foundation regards art, music, performing and visual arts, as well as dance and language, as central pillars of personality development. It imparts timeless values of humanism and promotes independent, ethically oriented thinking and respectful coexistence in a united Europe. Through international exchange, Western-Christian reflection, and inclusive education, it aims to empower young people to develop their creativity and actively contribute to addressing societal challenges.
Target groups
The funding opportunities are aimed at children and young people of all backgrounds and health conditions – with and without disabilities. The focus is on young individuals to whom the Foundation wishes to offer an inclusive space for personal, cultural, and artistic development. Through targeted programs and projects, experiences of community, tolerance, and creative self-realization are to be facilitated.
