Stiftung des Hohenlohekreises
About the funder
The Stiftung des Hohenlohekreises was established in November 2008 by the district council as a municipal foundation under civil law. Its objective is to use generated revenues to support projects throughout the entire Hohenlohe district. The focus areas of funding are science and research, monument, art and cultural preservation, nature and environmental protection, as well as local heritage and landscape conservation, education and sports, and care for children, youth, families, the disabled, and the elderly, along with voluntary engagement. Financing is provided through allocations from the Hohenlohe district, donations from the Sparkasse Hohenlohekreis, and endowments from private individuals, companies, and institutions. In the past, for example, funding has supported the acquisition of a mobile 3D sonar device for the DLRG, the bell tower of the Heuberg-Buchhorn citizens' association, an all-terrain emergency vehicle for the DRK Künzelsau, the redesign of a retreat house, and the redevelopment of the Hohenlohe farmers' educational trail.
