Mission & Vision
The goal of the Stiftung Deutsches Taubblindenwerk is to provide lasting assistance and support to people with hearing and vision impairments as well as those who are deafblind. It is committed to enabling affected individuals to lead self-determined lives by sustainably securing and further developing the educational, communication, and support services of the non-profit GmbH. Our mission is to overcome isolation and build bridges to the world.
Target groups
The foundation's funding measures are aimed at people with deafblindness and combined hearing and vision impairments of all ages. This includes children, adolescents, and adults who, due to dual sensory impairments, require lifelong support in the areas of early intervention, schooling, rehabilitation, workshops, and residential services. The foundation also supports relatives, caregivers, and professionals through supplementary services and networking activities.
