Our mission is to translate Christian charity into concrete action. The Stiftung Diakonie Hessen supports projects and initiatives that improve the lives of disadvantaged and needy people. In doing so, we work in partnership with diaconal institutions, volunteers, and research organizations to create sustainable and effective services.
Target groups
The funding programs are primarily aimed at diaconal organizations and institutions in Hesse and Nassau as well as Kurhessen-Waldeck. Eligible to apply are non-profit organizations, church congregations, and initiatives that implement projects for disadvantaged groups – including children and young people without training positions, individuals with mental illnesses, the terminally ill and their relatives, as well as people with dementia. Individuals can apply through their diaconal institutions.
