Stiftung Erdheilungsplätze
About the funder
The Stiftung Erdheilungsplätze was founded by Prof. Dr. Tilo Hildebrandt in September 2021 to acquire areas that are endangered or have been previously damaged by human intervention and to return them freely to nature. It identifies, secures, and manages over 40 earth healing sites in various regions and creates flowering meadows, orchard stands, and revitalized forests as refuges for animals and humans. The foundation operates as a non-profit organization that permanently maintains each acquired area within the ecological cycle and strengthens awareness of nature conservation through education, research, and public relations.

Mission & Vision
The Stiftung Erdheilungsplätze is committed to the protection and preservation of natural habitats. Its goal is to expand wilderness areas in Germany, restore disturbed landscapes, and conserve valuable ecosystems. By acquiring and ecologically enhancing land, it creates undisturbed refuges for plants and animals, sequesters CO₂, and thus promotes biodiversity and ecological balance.
Target groups
The foundation's offerings are aimed at committed private individuals and organizations who wish to actively contribute to nature conservation, as well as companies seeking to fulfill their responsibility for natural climate protection. Donors, supporting members, and partners benefit from transparent land conservation, certificates (nature points), and collaborative projects to promote biodiversity.
