About the funder

The Stiftung Evangelisch-Reformierte Kirchengemeinde Lüneburg-Uelzen was founded in 2011 by dedicated members of the congregation to permanently support the church community work of the Evangelical Reformed Church in the Lüneburg and Uelzen region. It consolidates endowments starting from €250 into a growing fund, the proceeds of which are used for projects in all areas of community life – from children's services, confirmation seminars, and diaconal work to Bible seminars, senior events, and investments in the building fabric.

Mission & Vision

"Going on a joint mission" is the foundation's motto. It creates a sustainable framework to ensure that the Evangelical Reformed Church Congregation Lüneburg-Uelzen can secure its diverse offerings and vibrant community cohesion for future generations. In doing so, it relies on civic engagement and the solidarity-based support of church and diaconal work.

Target groups

The target group of the foundation comprises all groups and projects of the Evangelical Reformed Church Congregation Lüneburg-Uelzen. Funding is provided to individuals and initiatives in the areas of children and youth work, confirmation classes, diaconal services, senior citizen programs, events, as well as structural measures of the congregation. The foundation also addresses endowers and donors who wish to support congregational life in the long term.
