Stiftung Familienorientierte Nachsorge Hamburg SeeYou "CU"
About the funder
The non-profit trust foundation Familienorientierte Nachsorge Hamburg SeeYou of the Catholic Children’s Hospital Wilhelmstift was established in 2004. It supports families with seriously or chronically ill children as well as families under psychosocial stress in Hamburg and the surrounding area. SeeYou offers systematic social-medical aftercare at the Wilhelmstift Children’s Hospital based on the “Bunter Kreis” model and introduced the Babylotse program in 2007 to guide pregnant women and (expectant) parents facing psychosocial challenges early on to appropriate support services. In addition, the foundation advises and trains other hospitals, municipalities, and practices throughout Germany in implementing comparable guidance services and advocates politically for the legal establishment of cross-social-code guidance services.

Mission & Vision
Our vision is that the lives of families facing significant challenges can also succeed. We identify health and psychosocial support needs early in pregnant women and young families, attentively recognize their needs, and connect them empathetically and reliably with tailored support services. Driven by charity, solidarity, trust, and courage, we develop future-oriented, sustainable solutions together with our target groups and maintain a partnership-based, appreciative communication with all stakeholders. In doing so, we guarantee efficiency, quality, and transparency in our work processes.
Target groups
Our funding and support services are aimed at families experiencing significant psychosocial stress, families with acutely seriously or chronically ill children and adolescents, as well as families with sick premature and newborn infants.
