With a broad range of exhibition and educational programs, the museum fulfills the ICOM core tasks of collecting, preserving, researching, exhibiting, and educating. The Free Hanseatic City of Bremen is the sponsor; significant support comes from the “Johann Focke Foundation,” the “Nicolaus H. Schilling Foundation,” the Association of Friends of the Focke Museum e.V., other foundations, private individuals, and companies.
