About the funder
The Stiftung für Pöcking is a non-profit foundation established in 2009 and based in Pöcking, dedicated to promoting community and cultural life within the municipality. Under the motto "Bringing Together. Helping. Moving.", it initiates and supports more than 220 projects in the fields of education, culture, integration, environmental protection, and sports. Among its best-known activities are the diverse holiday program for children, the outdoor pétanque court in the literature garden, the annual Christmas market, as well as various community events such as the lively Advent calendar and the "Night of the Long Table." The foundation works closely with the municipality of Pöcking, local clubs, and numerous volunteers, and additionally supports social and charitable initiatives such as reading mentors, homework supervision, and projects for refugees.

Mission & Vision
The Stiftung für Pöcking aims to enable civic engagement, strengthen community, and shape Pöcking as a vibrant and diverse municipality. By supporting cultural, social, and educational projects, we seek to bring together, support, and inspire people of all ages – for an open, sustainable, and future-oriented village culture.
Target groups
The foundation's offerings are aimed at all residents within the municipality of Pöcking as well as local clubs and institutions. The focus is on children and youth (e.g., holiday programs, reading mentors, sewing courses), families, seniors, and disadvantaged groups (e.g., refugee assistance, social projects), as well as cultural workers and volunteers who wish to engage in the fields of education, culture, integration, environmental protection, and sports.
