About the funder

The Geestland Foundation is a non-independent municipal foundation of the city of Geestland. Its purpose is the common good of the citizens and economic enterprises within the city area. It enables sustainable participation and support in various fields such as youth and elderly care, arts and culture, education, general and vocational training, nature conservation and landscape management, welfare services (in particular recognized associations of independent welfare organizations), sports, animal protection, civic engagement for charitable, benevolent, and ecclesiastical purposes, as well as local heritage preservation.

Mission & Vision

The aim of the Geestland Foundation is to provide all citizens and businesses with the opportunity to sustainably participate in shaping the city and social coexistence. Donated capital remains permanently preserved, with only the income and incoming donations used to implement charitable projects.
