Mission & Vision
Our mission is to promote art, culture, education, and people in need in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. We operate in and for Hamburg. Our values – openness to the world, care, and connection to Hamburg – guide our actions. We support and assist non-profit organizations, but also develop our own projects.
Target groups
The Stiftung Hamburger Hilfsspende exclusively supports institutions, projects, and initiatives in Hamburg. Individual persons are not directly funded. Furthermore, the special funding program "Hand in Hand" targets schoolchildren from disadvantaged families in Hamburg and supports them until they complete their schooling.
