Mission & Vision

The Stiftung Hamburger Wohnen sees itself as a driving force for lived community engagement on site. It assumes social responsibility, promotes communities in residential neighborhoods, and creates networks of mutual support. The goal is to counteract loneliness, strengthen intercultural and intergenerational exchange, and provide all residents with a livable and lovable environment.

Target groups

Organizations, institutions, and projects with a charitable purpose that are implemented in the Hamburg Wohnen districts are supported. The foundation targets sponsors and initiatives that improve the social environment, bring together generations and cultures, support youth, the elderly, or people with disabilities, and strengthen neighborhood cohesion within the communities.
