About the funder
The "Haus der Jugend und Technik" Foundation is a non-profit foundation under civil law based in Jena. Since its recognition by the Thuringian Ministry of the Interior and Municipal Affairs on February 5, 2020, it has promoted the education of children and youth by imparting practical technical and scientific knowledge. Its focus areas include model building, regional technical-historical research and publications, the construction of electronic and electromechanical control and regulation components, as well as the restoration of historically significant technical devices and vehicles. The foundation also aims to acquire and preserve the Historic Jena Tram Depot at Dornburger Straße 17 as the future "House of Youth and Technology."

Mission & Vision
The foundation aims to inspire young people early on in technology and natural sciences and to strengthen their practical skills.
