About the funder

The Integration Foundation is a non-profit foundation established on July 1, 1987, dedicated exclusively to promoting and realizing integrative living opportunities for children and adolescents with and without disabilities. It supports initiatives in family, kindergarten, school, vocational training, and public life that foster living and learning together. In doing so, it assumes responsibility for both the selection and supervision of projects as well as ensuring the designated use of the funds provided.

Mission & Vision

The Stiftung Integration is committed to the rights enshrined in the Civil Code for the equality of disabled persons and to a Christian-humanistic view of humanity that recognizes the value of a person regardless of mental and physical abilities. It identifies a societal need for the integration of disabled children and adolescents and aims, through the promotion of integrative projects, to simultaneously strengthen social competence and cooperative behavior among non-disabled youth.

Target groups

The funding programs are aimed at natural and legal persons who wish to implement integrative projects for children and adolescents with and without disabilities. Current grant recipients are exclusively from Hesse. Applicants must submit a coherent concept, a financial and timeline plan, as well as evidence of previously utilized funding opportunities. Upon completion, a report on the use of funds must be submitted.
