About the funder
Under the motto "Little ones move great things," the non-profit Stiftung Kindergärten Finkenau in Hamburg cares for children from nursery age (from 8–12 months) until they leave primary school. In around 30 facilities, over 570 employees work to support more than 2,500 children according to a partially open concept. The foundation is financed exclusively through the childcare voucher system and invests all proceeds in qualified staff, further training, spatial equipment, healthy nutrition, inclusion, and child protection. Politically independent and open to all nationalities, the foundation stands for democratic values and individual support.

Target groups
