The Stiftung Kinderland Baden-Württemberg was established in 2005 as a sub-foundation of the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung by former Prime Minister Günther Oettinger and Minister of Education Dr. Marianne Schultz-Hector. With an endowment of over €54 million and annual revenues exceeding €2 million, the foundation supports non-profit educational, cultural, and upbringing projects to provide children, youth, and families in Baden-Württemberg with optimal living and development opportunities. Its focus areas include early childhood support, talent and cultural programs (e.g., Culture Academy, Future Academy), health and environmental projects, as well as integrative offerings for disadvantaged target groups.
