About the funder
The Kinderplanet Foundation is a non-profit foundation under civil law, established in 2009 by JUL gGmbH, with its registered office in Weimar and operational address in Erfurt. It promotes early childhood education and upbringing, scientific research in this field, as well as support for children, particularly those who are socially disadvantaged and exceptionally gifted. Its activities include research projects, seminars and workshops, training and further education opportunities for educators and teachers, sponsorships, material assistance, scholarships, as well as network and cooperation projects such as "Julchen's Cooking Mobile," nutrition education in kindergartens, and the competition "Golden Vegetable Fork."

Mission & Vision
The Kinderplanet Foundation is guided by the mission to sustainably strengthen early childhood education and upbringing and to provide children with accessible, high-quality care and educational opportunities. It focuses on scientifically based projects, interdisciplinary cooperation, and targeted support programs to assist children in their physical, cognitive, and social development.
Target groups
The target group includes children in daycare and preschool age, particularly from socially disadvantaged families, providers of kindergartens, nurseries, and after-school care centers, as well as educational professionals and institutions and initiatives dedicated to early childhood education and care, and educators and childcare workers who wish to participate in training and further education programs on nutrition education, physical activity, and talent development.
