Stiftung Kultur & Geschichte Wildeshausen

The Stiftung Kultur & Geschichte Wildeshausen was established on the initiative of the Cultural Circle and the Citizens' and Historical Association. According to its statutes, it promotes the culture and history of the city of Wildeshausen in all its facets. Its activities include supporting exhibitions and lectures, documenting photographs, archival materials, and objects, publishing works on local history, chamber concerts, theater and small arts projects, readings, as well as cultural offerings for children. In the long term, the foundation aims to establish a cultural center and develop a museum.

The foundation is committed to raising awareness of the cultural diversity and historical significance of Wildeshausen, reducing prejudices, and promoting new social connections. It regards the preservation of culture and history as an indispensable task for the common good and supports local cultural partners and volunteer engagement.

The funding opportunities are aimed at the cultural community and the Citizens' and History Association of Wildeshausen, local clubs, volunteer cultural actors, as well as all citizens and visitors who are interested in the cultural diversity and history of the city and wish to actively participate in cultural life.
