Funding by the Foundation for Culture & History Wildeshausen

The Kultur & History Wildeshausen Foundation continuously supports cultural and historical projects in Lower Saxony with a focus on Wildeshausen. Non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, as well as private individuals, may submit applications at any time. The sponsorship supports exhibitions, lectures, documentaries, concert series, theater and cabaret performances, readings, as well as children's culture, and is particularly aimed at the cultural circle and the Citizens' and Historical Association of Wildeshausen. A prerequisite is activity in the cultural and historical field as well as a direct project connection or location in Wildeshausen. The initiative aims to strengthen awareness of the region's cultural identity and promote social cohesion through historical-cultural offerings.

With financial grants, the foundation contributes to implementing diverse event formats and building long-term structures. Supported are, among others, documentation of photographs, archival materials, and objects, publications on local history, chamber concerts, readings, and special programs for children and youth. Furthermore, the foundation pursues further projects such as the establishment of a museum and the creation of a cultural center. Committed initiatives and individuals thus have the opportunity to realize creative ideas and make the cultural heritage tangible for visitors and residents. A continuous submission deadline ensures flexible project planning and opens up new opportunities for civil society engagement on site.
