Stiftung Kulturkorridor Gera

The Stiftung Kulturkorridor Gera is a legally recognized civil law foundation established in November 2020, headquartered in Gera. As a non-profit organization, it aims to promote art and culture as well as public and vocational education regionally and throughout Germany—with a special focus on children and youth. Core activities include organizing art and music workshops, exhibitions, and performances in its own premises and at music schools, as well as providing artistically designed instruments for kindergartens, children’s homes, and schools. With locations in Gera and Eschweiler, the foundation supports young talents, strengthens cultural exchange, and contributes to the development of creative potentials.

The Kulturkorridor Gera Foundation is committed to the education of "our future" – children and young people. It relies on art, culture, and music as unifying elements, promotes creative development and intercultural dialogue, and aims to create a vibrant, sustainable tomorrow through innovative projects and workshops.

The foundation's programs primarily target children and young people in Thuringia and Saxony. The target groups include kindergartens, children's homes, schools, as well as young artists and cultural practitioners interested in artistic and musical education. Projects that pursue creative approaches, strengthen cultural diversity, and promote intergenerational exchange are supported.
