About the funder
The Stiftung Leben pur is a nationwide private foundation based in Munich. It was established in 2005 by the Bavarian State Association for People with Physical and Multiple Disabilities and aims to develop solutions to facilitate everyday life for people with complex disabilities and to sustainably improve their quality of life. Its activities include interdisciplinary conferences, training courses, professional publications, awards, as well as the establishment of a science and competence center.

Mission & Vision
People with complex disabilities are at the center of our actions. We are committed to their full participation and inclusion in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Through research, knowledge transfer, and professional qualification, we promote innovative approaches to dismantle barriers and ensure high-quality care.
Target groups
The Stiftung Leben pur is aimed at children, adolescents, and adults with complex disabilities. This refers to individuals who, due to multiple and multifaceted limiting factors, require lifelong compassionate support. They are often limited in their communication, have sensory impairments, and need interdisciplinary interventions in the fields of medicine, education, therapy, and curative education.
