Stiftung Lebenshilfe Lüdenscheid

The purpose of the Stiftung Lebenshilfe Lüdenscheid is to support funding measures of tax-privileged institutions and services that effectively provide assistance to people with various support needs of all ages, as well as to individuals in special life situations. In particular, the services and facilities of Lebenshilfe Lüdenscheid – Märkischer Kreis e. V. are supported, such as outpatient living, residential homes and group homes, the outpatient service, early intervention centers, the family support service, counseling centers, and the rehabilitation sports department. Furthermore, the foundation may support non-profit services and organizations whose projects benefit people with support needs. The foundation is a member of the Federal Association of German Foundations and invests its capital according to non-profit principles.

The Stiftung Lebenshilfe Lüdenscheid is committed to enabling people with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities and their families to lead a self-determined life within the community. It supports projects and institutions that strengthen concrete assistance, participation, and inclusion of people with support needs locally. Through sustainable donations and endowed funds, the foundation creates lasting support and backs initiatives that improve the daily life and quality of life of its target group.

Facilities, services, and projects that support and assist people with various support needs – ranging from developmental delays or behavioral issues to physical, mental, or psychological impairments – are funded. Private individuals in special life situations are also supported. The focus is on the users of the services provided by Lebenshilfe Lüdenscheid – Märkischer Kreis e. V., aiming to enable them lifelong quality of life, inclusion, and participation.
