Mission & Vision

The Lebenshilfe Trier Foundation is committed to providing sustainable and lasting support to people with intellectual and multiple disabilities. Its goal is to create reliable financial resources through the returns on the foundation’s capital as well as supplementary donations, in order to secure participation, self-determination, and well-being for this target group in the long term. The foundation places great value on trusting collaboration with donors to jointly develop tailored funding models.

Target groups

The funding programs of the Stiftung Lebenshilfe Trier are primarily aimed at people with intellectual and multiple disabilities in the Trier region. In addition, the foundation supports their families and relatives, for example through the sibling network launched in 2024. As foundation donors, private individuals and legal entities can get involved who wish to make a sustainable contribution to the promotion of Lebenshilfe.
