Mission & Vision

Our goal is to permanently preserve listed buildings in Meiningen and the surrounding area, to revitalize architecturally significant structures that shape the cityscape, and to make them accessible to the public. In doing so, we combine historical preservation with sustainable use and additionally support cultural and artistic projects to strengthen cultural diversity and regional identity.

Target groups

Our funding programs are aimed at owners and custodians of historic buildings in Meiningen and the surrounding area who seek renovation and preservation measures; students of music and art disciplines from Meiningen and the surrounding region who can apply for a scholarship; as well as municipal partners and non-profit organizations interested in project collaborations for the revitalization of architectural monuments and cultural revitalization.
