Stiftung MITstiften des Diakonischen Werkes Fürth e.V.

Private foundation

About the funder

The MITstiften Foundation was established in 2003 as a foundation of the Diakonie Fürth to promote diaconal work in the city and district of Fürth where public funds are unavailable or insufficient. It supports assistance for life accompaniment, the care of elderly and lonely people, networking in the social environment, and self-help measures. From the proceeds, the foundation board selects innovative projects, such as the installation of dementia protection systems in nursing homes, seed funding for new neighborhood projects, or the qualification of caregivers in the palliative care sector. Donors assume social responsibility with their contributions and create sustainable values for present and future generations.

Mission & Vision

The MITstiften Foundation aims to create perspectives together – for today, tomorrow, and the future. Through endowments and donations, it specifically supports diaconal projects and initiatives in Fürth and the surrounding area. The foundation's capital remains permanently intact, the board of trustees responsibly decides on the use of the proceeds, and the foundation supervisory authority ensures the designated use of funds.

Target groups

The foundation is aimed at all private individuals, companies, and institutions that wish to sustainably support diaconal concerns in the city and district of Fürth. With their donations, donors and supporters contribute to enabling the institutions and services of Diakonie Fürth to implement innovative social projects, expand counseling services, and improve the quality of life for elderly, sick, or disadvantaged people locally.
