Mission & Vision
The Ros Foundation was established out of the need to create an instrument to address current societal challenges in the spirit of the beautiful, the true, and the good, and to contribute to the care, development, and transformation of the world. It is committed to promoting individual development, self-determination, and responsible community building by supporting people in need and simultaneously freeing those who selflessly dedicate themselves to others. Through the promotion of art, education, justice, and self-education, it aims to strengthen a holistic, cultivating way of life and work.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Stiftung Ros are aimed at non-profit initiatives, organizations, and individuals in Hamburg and the surrounding area who are committed to the fields of nature, vibrant culture, communal living, and social justice. This includes, in particular, projects for the preservation and restoration of listed buildings (such as the Ledigenheim Rehhoffstraße), cultural, artistic, and educational initiatives, as well as projects that promote new models of coexistence and self-development.
