Stiftung "SOS-Familie – Die Stiftung der Ritaschwestern, Würzburg"

The ecclesiastical foundation "SOS Family – The Foundation of the Rita Sisters, Würzburg" was established on October 7, 2005, by the Congregation of the Rita Sisters as a public law foundation in Würzburg. It pursues the charitable-apostolic founding mission of the Rita Sisters to provide family-related assistance. With an initial endowment of 50,000 euros, it serves the idealistic and financial support of the Rita Sisters in the areas of family care, religious educational offerings, intergenerational work, as well as counseling and pastoral care for families, individual members, the sick, the dying, and their relatives.

The SOS Family Foundation is committed to strengthening families as a whole and their individual members through concrete assistance, counseling, and practical support, as well as advocating for their concerns in the public sphere. It promotes Christian values, protects marriage and family, and aims to support human life in all stages of age and development.

The target group primarily comprises families and individual family members (parents, children) in distress, people in crisis situations, as well as the sick, the dying, and their relatives. In addition, participants in religious educational programs and intergenerational encounter projects are addressed.
