About the funder

The St. Marien Isernhagen Foundation is a non-profit, non-independent ecclesiastical foundation under public law of the Evangelical Lutheran St. Marien Isernhagen parish. It is administered and legally represented by the church council as the foundation's sponsor. The board of trustees decides on the use of funds, and the foundation sponsor implements these decisions. The foundation is financed through interest income from the foundation's assets and additional donations. Since its establishment in 2008, it has primarily supported diaconal and community educational work with children and youth, the preservation of the St. Marien Church, and church music.

Mission & Vision

Our mission is to provide sustainable and reliable funding for the community work of the St. Marien Isernhagen parish. From the income generated by the foundation's assets, as well as donations and endowments, we support projects that strengthen community cohesion: work with children and youth, the preservation and maintenance of our church, and musical programs.

Target groups

Church and diaconal projects within the St. Marien Isernhagen parish are supported. This includes, in particular, offerings for children and youth (e.g., children's church, youth camps), measures for the preservation and design of the Marien Church, as well as projects in the field of church music (evening concerts, choir work). Beneficiaries are individuals, groups, and committees within the parish who contribute to parish work.
