Mission & Vision
The Stiftung Suchthilfe Mainz is committed to supporting individuals at risk of addiction and those dependent on substances in Mainz and the surrounding area. Our goal is to provide unbureaucratic and swift assistance when public services are not yet effective, and to counteract the development of addiction through preventive and educational measures. We believe in the solidarity of society and promote individual support as well as projects that contribute to the improvement of the municipal addiction strategy.
Target groups
The foundation's funding programs are aimed at individuals at risk of addiction and those dependent on substances across all age groups, particularly children and adolescents from Mainz and the surrounding area. We support affected individuals in emergency situations with financial grants for necessary services not covered by public agencies. Furthermore, we promote projects that have a preventive effect or that strengthen self-help and education in schools, institutions, and the public.
