About the funder
The Wirtschaftshof Spandau Foundation was established by the Wirtschaftshof Spandau Association (e. V.) as a charitable institution. It supports needy children, adolescents, pensioners, and people with disabilities in Spandau through monetary and in-kind donations. Furthermore, it promotes Spandau sports clubs as well as local heritage preservation and local history in Spandau. Funded projects include, among others, DLRG Youth, Chess for Kids, SC Staaken 1919 e. V., VfV Verein für Volkssport Spandau 1922 e. V., Spandau Wind Orchestra 1960 e. V., Neues Theater Varianta, Aktion Plus, Klasse 2000, Evangelical Waldkrankenhaus Spandau, Traglinge e. V., Herberge zur Heimat, G.i.Z. gGmbH, SJC Wildwuchs, Soup Kitchen Deanery Spandau, and the Scientific Education Chain.

The Wirtschaftshof Spandau Foundation is committed to social justice and equal opportunities in Spandau. Our goal is to provide support to disadvantaged individuals locally, strengthen community life by promoting sports clubs, and sustainably preserve Spandau's cultural heritage. We believe in the community's responsibility for its members and continuously encourage engagement in the region.
Target groups
The funding is aimed at needy children, adolescents, pensioners, and people with disabilities residing in Spandau or the immediately adjacent eastern areas. Additionally, Spandau sports clubs benefit from material and financial grants. Initiatives and projects in the field of local heritage and regional studies, which contribute to the preservation of local tradition and history, are also target groups.
