The Stiftung Wirtschaftskreis Hohenschönhausen-Lichtenberg for the Promotion of Children and Youth is a non-profit foundation with the purpose of financially supporting children and youth projects in the Berlin district of Lichtenberg. It promotes, in accordance with Section 58 (1) of the German Fiscal Code, projects of the non-profit association Kinderhaus Berlin-Mark Brandenburg e. V. as well as other non-profit organizations that implement socio-educational, socio-psychological, and caregiving services for children and young people.

Mission & Vision
The foundation is committed to sustainably improving the quality of life for children and young people in the Lichtenberg district. Through targeted financial grants, projects that support the care, education, and development of young people are promoted. We affirm the inviolable dignity of every person and specifically support initiatives that embody this value in daily actions.
Target groups
The foundation's target group consists of children and adolescents in the Lichtenberg district as well as institutional providers that offer socio-educational, socio-psychological, or caregiving services for this age group. The focus is particularly on projects of the Kinderhaus Berlin-Mark Brandenburg e. V., which currently cares for around 320 children.
