Theresienspitalstiftung
About the funder
The Theresienspital Foundation Bad Kissingen was established in 1839 by royal decree from Queen Therese of Bavaria to undertake charitable tasks in the city of Kissingen. For over 180 years, the foundation has supported individuals in need of care, those requiring assistance, and the underprivileged, as well as institutions that serve these groups. Through straightforward financial aid and close cooperation with local welfare associations and church communities, it contributes to the sustainable improvement of the living conditions of the needy in the region.

Mission & Vision
Shaped by the charitable vision of its founder, the Theresienspital Foundation aims to support people in need in an unbureaucratic and reliable manner. It works closely with regional aid organizations to promote care, support, and integration of individuals in need. Transparent use of funds and regular audits by independent auditors, as well as the foundation supervision by the government of Lower Franconia, ensure the sustainable effectiveness of the funding measures.
Target groups
Support is provided to individuals in need of care, assistance, and those financially disadvantaged in Bad Kissingen and the surrounding area, as well as to non-profit institutions and projects (e.g., children's daycares, senior homes, social projects) that care for and support these target groups.
