Mission & Vision
Good climate, clean water, and more nature: The TMUENF shapes sustainable environmental and energy policies for the Free State of Thuringia. The staff prepare legislation, advise on strategies with municipalities and interest groups, and represent Thuringia’s positions to the federal government and the European Union.
Target groups
Target groups are municipalities, companies, associations, organizations, and private individuals in Thuringia. Funding is provided, among other things, for measures in the areas of environmental protection, renewable energies, nature conservation, forestry, and water management. A connection to the Free State of Thuringia and the fulfillment of program-specific criteria are generally required.
