About the funder
The trust foundation "Musik zum Leben" was established on January 25, 2007, under the umbrella of the BürgerStiftung München. The purpose of the foundation is to support primarily socially or otherwise disadvantaged children and young people in Munich. It supports projects and initiatives that, through exposure to music and art, awaken creativity, enhance self-confidence and quality of life, and strengthen social skills.

Mission & Vision
The foundation aims to provide young people in difficult life situations with artistic and musical experiences. It sustainably supports their personal development, strengthens their self-confidence and social skills, in order to open up a positive life perspective and reinforce social cohesion.
Target groups
The target group primarily consists of socially and otherwise disadvantaged children and young people in Munich. The foundation is aimed at young individuals who have little access to cultural education due to their environment or lack of resources, and seeks to provide them with artistic participation and new development opportunities through individual project funding.
