About the funder
The Bernhard Hess University Foundation is one of the 15 individual foundations under the umbrella of the Regensburg University Foundations. It was established to sustainably support the Department of Physics at the University of Regensburg. Its projects include awarding the annual Bernhard Hess Prize for outstanding scientific achievements in the field of time- and angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy, as well as granting the "Professorship Bernhard Hess" Sponsorship Award in the amount of 2,000 euros. The foundation supports both established scientists and early-career researchers, thereby contributing to scientific excellence and enhancing the visibility of the Department of Physics at the national and international levels.
