VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH

VDI/VDE Innovation + Technology GmbH is a project-supporting organization based in Stuttgart that acts as a project sponsor on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism Baden-Württemberg for the implementation and administration of various innovation and technology funding programs. These include, among others, the cross-sector funding program Invest BW – Innovation in its various phases, as well as the complementary format Praxissprints. The GmbH supports companies, research institutions, and start-ups in the application process, accompanies the review and approval procedures, and ensures that funding processes are conducted efficiently, in compliance with legal requirements, and transparently.

Our mission is to sustainably strengthen the innovative capacity in Baden-Württemberg as a reliable project management agency. We manage funding programs professionally and with a citizen-oriented approach, offering applicants competent advice and transparent processes – from the submission of outlines through technical and administrative review to the support and successful completion of projects. In doing so, we see ourselves as a bridge between politics, industry, and research to promote forward-looking technologies and open up growth opportunities for regional companies.

The offerings of VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH are aimed at companies of all sizes – especially small and medium-sized enterprises as well as start-ups – as well as research institutions and universities located or with branches in Baden-Württemberg.
