Mission & Vision
The mission of the VDB is to effectively represent its member institutions – guarantee banks and medium-sized investment companies – to strengthen professional exchange and to jointly further develop financing instruments that are friendly to medium-sized businesses. In doing so, the association aims to develop efficient solutions for its members and to actively contribute these to political decision-making processes in Germany and Europe.
Target groups
The VDB is exclusively aimed at its member institutions: the regional guarantee banks and medium-sized investment companies in all federal states. It supports them with regulatory, legal, and strategic issues, promotes the exchange of experience, and offers specialist events, publications, and training opportunities.
