About the funder
The Volker-Brumme Foundation was established on August 20, 2005, and pursues the same foundation purposes as the Bürgerstiftung Braunschweig. Its goal is the sustainable and selfless promotion and development in the fields of education and upbringing, youth welfare and elderly care, art, culture and monument preservation, science and research, environmental and nature conservation, local heritage and international understanding, as well as sports and health. The foundation is particularly committed to the people of the city of Braunschweig and is personally and financially supported by the founding couple Angela Volker-Brumme and Harald Volker.
