Volker-Nechleba-Stiftung
About the funder
The Volker-Nechleba Foundation was established in 1984 at the Faculty of Catholic Theology of the University of Regensburg by the married couple Lothar and Brigitte Nechleba to keep alive the memory of their prematurely deceased son Volker and to continue his intense engagement with questions of the meaning of life and the realization of faith. The purpose of the foundation is to promote the theology of Christian spirituality, in particular through the preparation of a digital new edition of the works of Johann Michael Sailer as well as the support of events under the responsibility of a professor of Catholic Theology at the University of Regensburg. Beneficiaries are exclusively students of the University of Regensburg, regardless of their denomination.
