About the funder
The Vonovia Social Foundation is a private corporate foundation of Vonovia SE based in Braunschweig. It specifically supports tenants of Vonovia as well as organizations in their environment that find themselves in distress or initiate social, cultural, and neighborhood projects. Mission & Vision
The Vonovia Social Foundation follows the guiding principle "We help." Its goal is to strengthen security and cohesion within Vonovia housing communities: it aims to alleviate acute emergencies, promote neighborly cooperation, provide young people with opportunities through education, and support self-initiative through aid for self-help.
Target groups
The target group of the Vonovia Social Foundation primarily consists of tenants of Vonovia (formerly Deutsche Annington) as well as associations and initiatives active in their immediate environment. Particular support is given to socially disadvantaged individuals, families in need, children and young people in education, neighborhood projects aimed at strengthening community life, and tenant self-help groups.
