Wenzel Hablik-Stiftung
About the funder
The Wenzel Hablik Foundation was established in 1985 by the daughters Susanne Klingeberg and Sibylle Sharma-Hablik to permanently secure the artistic estate of Wenzel Hablik and his wife Elisabeth Lindemann. As a legal foundation under civil law based in Itzehoe, it makes the most extensive collection of Hablik's works available worldwide accessible to the public, teaching, and research. Since 1995, the foundation has operated the Wenzel Hablik Museum, supports publications, exhibitions at home and abroad, and intensive scholarly evaluation of the estate.
