About the funder
The Wernstein Foundation is a non-profit, anthroposophically oriented foundation based in Berlin. It promotes and realizes the social cultural impulse of Rudolf Steiner, particularly the idea of social threefolding. Its tasks include providing and managing land and spaces at the historic district of Veitlahm in Wernstein, and meaningfully further developing the resulting impulses – from Waldorf education through biodynamic agriculture to art and eurythmy. The foundation maintains a cultural center with event halls and a grand piano for concerts, supports series of plays, exhibitions, and lectures, and promotes community initiatives on site.

It aims to connect the anthroposophical cultural impulse in the fields of spiritual, legal, and economic life, provide land and real estate for charitable purposes, and support the development of a vibrant cultural and educational space at Patersberg.
