The Hamann Foundation is a private, non-profit foundation based in Hilden, founded in 2005 by Wolfgang Hamann. It specifically supports children and adolescents from low-income families in the Hilden area and surroundings with an annual funding volume of approximately €12,000. The foundation promotes musical talent development and covers tuition fees, tutoring projects and learning sponsorships, integrative theater, drumming, and vaulting projects, political youth education, as well as prevention courses for refugee youth. All donations flow 100% into the projects, while administrative costs are privately borne.

Mission & Vision
The Hamann Foundation is committed to providing children and young people with equal opportunities regardless of their social background. Through individual support and the promotion of local initiatives, it aims to unlock potential, strengthen integration, and create long-term prospects.
Target groups
Children and adolescents (school age up to 18 years) from low-income families in the administrative district of Düsseldorf, with a focus on the city of Hilden, are supported. The target groups include particularly gifted music students, students with learning difficulties, young refugees, as well as children from families in financial distress.
