About the funder
The Wolfgang-Ritter-Stiftung was founded in 1970 by the entrepreneur Wolfgang Ritter in Bremen. As a non-profit foundation under private law, it promotes science, its institutions, and especially early-career academics. Its activities range from scientific awards such as the Wolfgang-Ritter Prize and the Wolfgang-Ritter Study Prize to the Bremen University Dialogues, as well as project-based collaborations with colleges and universities in Bremen, Germany, and Europe.

Mission & Vision
