Mission & Vision
"Childhood stands for every child's right to a childhood free from sexualized violence and abuse." The foundation's goal is to strengthen children by supporting proven and new projects, educating them about their rights, and reducing the long-term costs of trauma. With the concept of Childhood Houses, the foundation advances child protection as a societal responsibility and supports the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Target groups
The funding programs of the World Childhood Foundation Germany are aimed at children and adolescents who have experienced or are threatened by sexualized violence, abuse, or neglect. They also address professionals and institutions (youth welfare, police, judiciary, medicine, psychology) to jointly build sustainable, integrated care structures. In addition to individual support, the foundation strengthens networks and political frameworks to firmly establish children's rights in the long term.
