Zukunft bilden – Andrea & Markus Eisel Stiftung

Zukunft bilden – Andrea & Markus Eisel Foundation is a legally recognized civil law foundation established in 2021, based in Kriftel (Hesse). As a non-profit funding foundation, it supports non-profit organizations, educational and further training programs, as well as research projects that focus on self-determined and sustainable learning for children and adolescents. Funded are educational projects, extracurricular educational offerings, social and ecological initiatives, as well as studies and public relations work aimed at promoting self-organized educational approaches. The voluntary board consists of Andrea Eisel, Dr. Markus Eisel, and Max Eisel.

Our mission is to create conditions in which children and young people can independently develop their potential. We are committed to ensuring that learning processes are organized in a self-determined, participatory, and sustainable manner, and that the supported projects strengthen democratic participation, children's rights, ecological responsibility, and equality of all gender identities.

Eligible to apply are recognized non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and research bodies in Germany that implement innovative educational concepts in which children and young people actively participate as equal partners in shaping their learning processes. Initiatives that combine self-directed learning, social participation, ecological future perspectives, and intercultural diversity are supported.
