About the funder
The Zukunftsstiftung Bildung was established in 2000 within GLS Treuhand e.V. and promotes and supports young people so that they can develop into free and responsible individuals. To this end, the foundation initiates and accompanies programs, trainings, workshops, further education measures, and consultations aimed at transforming education and schools. The focus is on activating methods, peer-learning formats, and the systemic support of school development processes.

Mission & Vision
The Zukunftsstiftung Bildung is committed to reimagining learning environments and teaching-learning processes: We promote educational innovations, enhance the professionalism of teachers, and provide students with spaces where they can experience and practice empathy, role modeling, and responsible action through peer learning.
Target groups
The offerings of the Zukunftsstiftung Bildung are aimed at students of all age groups, teachers, school administrators, and educational professionals in Germany. In particular, schools in challenging situations, teachers in their professional development, and young people who are to be empowered through peer-learning programs are key target groups.
