With the funding program Digitalbonus.Bayern, the Free State of Bavaria aims to provide targeted financial support to small commercial enterprises so that they can make necessary investments in digital technologies and IT security. We believe that an increasing rate of digitalization and improved IT security are crucial factors for long-term growth, competitiveness, and innovative strength.
Target groups
The target group of Digitalbonus.Bayern consists of small enterprises in the commercial sector with a business establishment in the Free State of Bavaria, employing fewer than 50 employees and having an annual turnover or annual balance sheet total of no more than 10 million euros. Excluded are, among others, freelancers without a commercial legal form, hospitals, agricultural enterprises, and companies with state participation.
